    The Woodland Hockey Association is a local community association supporting the sport of hockey in the Duluth

    neighborhoods of Woodland, Lakewood, Gnesen Township and Rice Lake Township. The primary focus of WAHA is to support local outdoor hockey in the areas of:

    Health & Wellness - During the winter months, outdoor skating provides an excellent outlet for exercise and healthy competition

    Player Skill Development - Teach players hockey skills so that they can enjoy the game and achieve their personal goals

    Growth - Introduce children and adults to a Northland tradition and provide a variety of programs so they will continue to play hockey year after year

    Safety Provide - a safe environment at which to grow and learn about themselves and their community
