    Mission statement:   The mission of the University of the District of Columbia Baccalaureate Social Work Program is to prepare professionally competent, ethical social work generalists who have skills to effectively collaborate with diverse client systems to respond to issues and resolve problems in contemporary urban living utilizing evidence-informed approaches.
