About Us
The Sound Cities Association (formerly known as the Suburban Cities Association) represents 38 cities in King County, Washington and provides a voice for over one million people.
The Sound Cities Association (SCA) was founded to help cities act locally and partner regionally to create vital, livable communities through advocacy, education, leadership, mutual support and networking.
We provide leadership on economic and community development, transportation, land use, health, government operations, environment, education, public safety, social welfare and other public policy issues.
Together we are capitalizing on the diversity of our cities to lead policy change to make the Puget Sound region the best in the world.
