The mission of the Joyce and Irving Goldman Family Foundation is to make a measurable difference, of lasting value, on important issues affecting the fundamental quality of human lives.
Our Philanthropic Vision
While the Foundation’s areas of interest and its grantmaking will evolve over time, the Trustees have established the following operating goals for its work:
- To think strategically about how to address the causes of important issues
- To build the capacity of organizations with the potential to have a lasting impact on people’s lives
- To open up opportunities, by providing resources to important areas of need
- To provide seed grants for specific initiatives that can bloom
