Gulf Coast CASA

  • About Us

Gulf Coast CASA serves Brazoria, Matagorda and Wharton Counties.

You can help children of abuse and neglect by being a voice to help make a change in their lives. CASA Advocate Volunteers are individuals from all walks or life who speak up for a child's best interest in court.

An Advocate gets to know the child and gather information from everyone involved in his or her daily life, including family members, foster parents, teachers, daycare providers, doctors, lawyers, social workers and other relevant individuals.

CASA Advocates use the information gathered to report to the judge, advocating in the child's best interest while they are in the foster care system. As an Advocate, you commit to represent a child to ensure that they have a safe and stable home environment.
