  • About Us

A Better Way’s mission is to empower children and families to develop the insights, life skills and permanent relationships that promote their social, emotional, educational and economic well-being. A Better Way serves infants, children, youth and families who are in foster care, are at risk of entering the child welfare system, or have exited Foster Care through Reunification or Adoption.

We have served nearly 2,000 children in our Mental Health programs, more than 2,000 in foster care, and 300 through adoption.

A Better Way puts a great deal of emphasis on cultural competency in our organization. Our staff is 42% minority and speaks 12 different languages.
