  • About Us

The Conjunto Heritage Taller (pronounced ta-yer), is a community-based non-profit organization established in San Antonio in 2002 that is dedicated to the preservation and perpetuation of traditional Conjunto music as played with the button accordion and bajo sexto.

The Taller provides low-cost instruction on the accordion and bajo sexto and seeks venues where students can perform the music they have learned, often free of charge, and sometimes for a donation to help fund our program. CHT's student base is intergenerational, ranging in age from 7-80 years. Our motto is "Musica Tradicional for Youth of all Ages"
