    Proteus Gowanus is an interdisciplinary gallery, event space and reading room. Our exhibitions, programs, projects and publications are developed by a core collaborative of artists, writers and workers in other disciplines, with help from an extended community of PG correspondents. Inspired by place and community, the gallery develops exhibits of art, artifacts and books that revolve around a yearlong theme linking the arts to other disciplines.
