    The Institute for Policy Studies a nonprofit based in Washington, DC that provides research and support for major social movements and policy reform that promote peace, justice and the environment. This cutting edge progressive think tank is celebrating 50 years of turning ideas into action (1963-2013), and the Boston office is leading some of its most ground breaking local projects.

    Our office is based at the Jamaica Plain “Brewery” complex (near Stonybrook T Station on the MBTA Orange Line). Our Program on Inequality and the Common Good works on a variety of projects. See www.ips-dc.org/inequality for a summary of our activities.
