    Rise is a student-led nonprofit organization advocating for free public higher education. We recruit, hire, and train current community college and university students to lead electoral and legislative campaigns focused on putting higher education within reach for all. We advocate not just for free tuition and fees, but also financial aid and supports to prevent college student hunger and homelessness and for students to graduate on time.
