About Us
Teach For America is the national corps that recruits our nation's most promising future leaders - recent graduates of all academic majors - to commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools in our nation's lowest-income communities. We provide economically disadvantaged children with excellent teachers while we create a force of leaders who have the insight and commitment to be effective lifelong advocates for change.
