    The High Country Conservation Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Summit County, Colorado with a mission to promote practical solutions for waste reduction and resource conservation in our mountain community. Founded in 1976 as a grassroots recycling and resource conservation organization, the High Country Conservation Center now works to provide services for our community in the areas of energy efficiency and renewable energy, green building, waste reduction, and sustainable living.
