  • About Us

HanneHowardFund (HHF) is a hands-on, grassroots Canadian charity that provides full care for 130 orphaned and vulnerable children in Lenana slum in Nairobi Kenya. It was founded in 2006 by a Canadian couple, Hanne Howard and Ted Horton.

HHF provides education, daily meals, healthcare and shelter for the neediest children. We run an on site pre-school program for our youngest children and also offer extra curricular activities, computer classes and a tutoring program for the HHF kids.

Our mission is to give the HHF kids a chance to succeed in life and break the cycle of poverty.
