  • About Us

Established in 1999 as Parents’ PLACE, our goal as the Massachusetts PIRC is to inform and enable parents to play a key role as partners with schools in ensuring children’s success in school.

Today, more than ever before, parents are recognized as essential to their own children’s academic success and to improving schools. The Massachusetts PIRC is a place where parents can find out about their rights and options under both state and federal education laws so they can make the best choices for their children. We also support schools and district across the state in their efforts to form strong bonds with families.
