About Us
The Takoma Park Child Development Center (TPCDC) is a private, nonprofit early childhood program serving children ages eighteen months to twelve years. The primary mission of TPCDC is to provide children with a safe and nurturing environment in which they can develop a positive sense of self, feelings of trust and security, a love for learning, and a respect for others. The Center is dedicated to promoting a harmonious, diverse community, and to supporting families by providing consistent, convenient, affordable, and high quality child care. Current enrollment at TPCDC (including full-time, part-time, and before/after-school care) is approximately 150.
