  • About Us

Making Kids Win aims to develop community centers that provide a judgment-free and safe zone where neighborhood children can engage with their peers through academics, sports, and the arts during the "gray part" of the day -- after school ends and before a parent gets home.

The first Making Kids Win community center will be in Newark, New Jersey. The organization's founder, actor Michael K. Williams, lived in Newark's West Ward and saw first-hand the need for a safe space for children in the community to develop their passions and skills.
