About Us
The Foundation for Intentional Community (FIC) champions social, ecological, and economic justice and resiliency through the support and growth of cooperative culture and intentional communities.
We envision a just, resilient, and cooperative world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive in community.
We work towards this vision by connecting people to community living opportunities, skills, and resources in partnership with hundreds of intentional communities around the world. Our network includes over 1,500 ecovillages, cohousings, shared homes, permaculture centers, and sustainable communities, as well as innumerable community seekers of all walks of life. At a time when people are desperate for more social connection and answers to complex problems, intentional communities offer hope in an increasingly broken world.
