    The Juneau Montessori School (JMS) is a private, tuition-based preschool and kindergarten and toddler program. JMS offers financial aid. The preschool curriculum includes language, math, practical life activities, science, social studies, music, art, and outdoor activities.

    Our program, as well as the public school program, aims to provide authentic Montessori experiences to all children in Juneau whose families desire this form of education. Our focus is to nurture the whole child: physically, socially, intellectually, and emotionally. We follow the principles and standards established by the Association Montessori Interantionale for the Montessori Continuum.
