OFII is a business association based in Washington, DC, created in 1990. OFII’s members, the U.S. subsidiaries of companies with headquarters outside the United States, include some of the largest global employers in the world, i.e. Sony, Nestlé, Unilever and Honda. The purpose of the organization is to educate policymakers and the public on the benefits that foreign direct investment brings to the U.S. economy and to advocate at the state and federal level on their behalf.
