About Us
A dotORG Weekend is a weekend-long event where software developers, social media experts, grant writers, and attorney’s donate their time to create custom software for non-profit organizations. The custom software could be a new or refreshed website, a donor registration application, or integrating CiviCRM. Social Media experts will hold one-on-one training sessions tailored specifically for the non-profit, as well as more general group sessions offered over the course of the weekend. Grant Writers will work one-on-one with non-profits that need assistance in gaining sponsorship, as well as offer a general class over the course of the weekend. Attorney’s will be available if you need contracts reviewed have questions on gaining your 501(c)3 status. The only limitation is that the project can be scoped so it can be completed in a weekend.
