    EVENT: SUMMER STREETS

    Date: Sat. August 3rd, 10th and 17th

    Time: 7am-1pm

    Location: from Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park

    On 3 consecutive Saturdays in August, Summer Streets will temporarily close off the traffic along Park Avenue and connecting streets from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park. Summer Streets creates an open space for New Yorkers and visitors of the city to use their city's streets without interference of motorized vehicles. They will be free to run, walk, blade, bike, sit, or play.

    Volunteers are needed for all three Summer Streets Saturdays to assist with marshalling the route, directing participants and help thousands of New Yorkers enjoy Summer Streets. Visit www.nyc.gov/summerstreets to register to volunteer today!
