    School Community Intervention & Prevention (SCIP) works with schools to train teams to identify youth who may be struggling with behavioral health issues. Our goal is to connect these youth to services and/or supports either within the school or in their community so that they can be reach their full potential. Collaboration is key to our program, as we work with agencies in communities who are willing to provide a free SCIP screening/evaluation to help assess what may be going on with the student. A large part of what we do is provide trainings on mental health and substance use issues for school personnel or community presentations to raise awareness of mental health issues.
