About Us
East Yard Communities for Environmental Justice (EYCEJ) is an environmental health and justice organization working towards a safe and healthy environment for communities that are disproportionately suffering the negative effects of industrial pollution. The organization recognizes and promotes full and authentic community participation in influencing policies that affect them directly and promotes the implementation of environmental justice guidelines for local, state and federal governments and agencies as well as industry. EYCEJ is committed to doing this work through direct democratic decision-making, and is dedicated to taking collective action for safe and healthy communities were residents live, work, learn and play.
