iDE creates income and livelihood opportunities for poor rural households. We are an international non-profit dedicated to ending poverty in the developing world not through handouts, but by helping poor families access the tools and knowledge they need to increase their income and improve their quality of life.
Most of the poorest individuals on our planet, more than 800 million, agricultural communities. We work with these populations in order to make a significant impact on global poverty. Operating in 13 countries, we have transformed the lives of more than 19 million people by helping them achieve income increases that, while small by Western standards, empower them to access life-altering opportunities.
