    The Servant Center, Inc. assists individuals in the community through four main programs. The Servant House is a transitional housing facility offering shelter, respite, and counseling for up to 21 homeless, disabled men, particularly veterans. Glenwood and Hayworth Houses are permanent supportive housing units with 17 one-bedroom and studio apartments provides continued supportive services to persons with disabilities. The Disability Assistance Program provides assistance with the application process for entitlements through the Social Security Administration. The Servant Center is also the Lead Agency for the AmeriCorps Partnership to End Homelessness program. This program has approximately 25 members serving those who are homeless or who are at risk for becoming homeless at various nonprofits in Guilford County.
