  • About Us

Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic of Metropolitan Washington provides textbooks on CD to students whose disabilities prevent them from reading the printed word.

In our recording studios at Friendship Heights and on the campus of the National Institutes of Health, 400 volunteers annually give over 25,000 hours of their time to record textbooks. The master recordings are housed at RFB&D's C.V. Starr Learning Through Listening™ Library at our headquarters in Princeton, NJ, for circulation to students in the Washington Metropolitan area and throughout the nation. We have more than 54,000 digitally recorded titles available for students in elementary through post-graduate school.
