The Charles River Center

  • About Us

The Charles River Center is a nonprofit social service agency that has been providing advocacy and a variety of services to children and adults with mental retardation, related developmental disabilities and their families since 1956. The members of our organization include people with developmental disabilities, their families and friends, volunteers and many other people from the communities we serve. We take pride in our long history, our close network of supporters and friends, and strong commitment to developing quality community based services. We look forward, with enthusiasm, to leading the way in service delivery and effective advocacy for people with disabilities in the future.
