    The Disability Policy Consortium's mission is to promote inclusion, independence, and empowerment by guiding statewide development of polocies to ensure that programs and services enable people with disabilities to participate in the political, economic and social mainstream of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

    Since 1996, the DPC has ensured that people with disabilities have a seat at the table when laws are are written and public policy changes are considered.

    The DPC's work in fighting architectural, attitudinal and communication barriers has made Massachusetts a better place to live for the nearly one million citizens who are living with a disability.
