  • About Us

We are a nonprofit food recovery organization whose mission is to connect excess food to people in need and to work to create systemic change in the food system.

    Feed People - Not Landfills

While up to 40% of the food in the US is wasted, 1 out of 7 people and 1 out of 5 children are food insecure in Los Angeles County. Our mission is to recover food that would otherwise be thrown away by restaurants, grocery stores, offices, and anywhere else food is served, and divert it towards shelters, churches, and other nonprofit organizations that feed those experiencing food insecurity.
