    Since 1982, Instituto Laboral de la Raza has provided much needed services to low income workers and their families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. With focus on the Latino population, our organization is both bi-lingual and bi-culural. However we are committed to serving all the issues of the poverty population of the Bay Area and work closely with many other community-based organizatin to achieve this goal.

    Our services include:

    labor issues including claims for back wages, unemployment insurance appeals, compensation for injuries in the workplace, harassment and discrimination on the job, and other unfair labor practices.

    Processing & translating documents - immigration, work permits, resumes, and income taxes, etc.

    workers rights training and union organizing activites.
