  • About Us

The mission of Centro Latino is to empower the Hispanic community through Education, Job Skills development, and Family Services. We have been the provider of services to low-income, limited English speaking Pierce County residents for the last 22 years. Many of those we help have multiple additional barriers that include legal issues, abuse, homelessness, limited work experience and a lack of basic skills. To help our clients overcome these barriers, Centro staff utilizes a functional family approach, which includes working with the family and other support networks to address issues outside of education and employment. This approach helps youth and adults achieve family stability, employment, economic opportunity and self-sufficiency.
