The Chicago School for Piano Technology

  • About Us

The Chicago School for Piano Technology is a non-profit organization located in Chicago’s near West side. It is one of only two organizations in the country that uniquely combines expertise in piano technology education with the broader mission of nurturing an interest in the piano in the community. Using a comprehensive and accredited certificate curriculum, the school offers classes not only in the craft, technique, and technology of piano care but also in arts entrepreneurship and small business management. In addition to the certificate programs, the school offers open-to-the public seminars, lectures, and a series of presentations on piano technology, music history and related topics. Through these events, we seek to provide unique learning experience to the broadest possible audience, both technical professionals and music enthusiasts alike.
