    Friends for Refugees (FFR) is a non-profit organization working in the field of private sponsorship of refugees. FFR is currently sponsoring a Palestinian-Iraqi family of four to relocate from a Syrian refugee camp to the community of Halifax, Nova Scotia , Canada. The organization must fundraise $26, 000 for relocation and settlement. Friends for Refugees works with the mentor-ship of Immigrant Settlement and Integration Services (ISIS) and in partnership with the First Baptist Church of Canada.
