Job Title: Community Outreach Specialist 

Location: New York, NY

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Type: Full-time Temporary

Position Summary:

A ReServe Outreach Community Specialist participates in a team which engages in community engagement activities in New York City neighborhoods about COVID-19 public health, testing, and vaccination. 

Depending upon the specifics of the Work Order, the Specialist will be required to successfully complete the duties listed below:

Community Events: field-based community event support such as test sites, vaccination sites, and "pop-up" community awareness events.

Community Canvassing: field-based neighborhood canvassing, including door-to-door dissemination of public health messages and the collection of data related to COVID-19 testing and vaccination.

Field-based work include regular travel to various locations in the five boroughs of New York City (Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island). PPE and NYC Metrocards are provided for field work.
