National Council of Women's Organizations

  • About Us

The National Council of Women's Organizations (NCWO) is a coalition of over 240 of the nation’s largest and most influential women’s organizations, representing some 11 million women across the country. The only national coalition of its kind, NCWO amplifies the influence and impact of the women’s movement throughout society by (1) bringing women’s groups together to propel their work forward through networking, partnering and collaborative task forces; (2) strengthening ties and facilitating collaboration between the women’s movement and social justice allies; and (3) reaching out to include communities of women who have never before been involved in the movement.
