About Us
The Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, an agency of the UJA-Federation of NY, is located on 500 acres of forested land in the Berkshires in Western Connecticut. Our facilities include a glatt kosher dining room, an organic farm and orchard, 2 lakes, a swimming pool, hiking trails and rustic accommodations for up to 180 overnight guests. We offer diverse programs and retreat experiences designed to renew and sustain the vibrancy of contemporary Jewish practice. We are a community in which people connect with themselves, Judaism, the environment and each other.
