About Us
The Farmers Market Federation of NY is a grassroots organization of market managers, market farmers and community organizations all working together to improve the quality and effectiveness of farmers markets across New York State. Our work strives to reach all 3 legs of the farmers market stool:
1. Assist farmers markets to reach their potential as vibrant marketplaces for consumers and farmers;
2. Ensure farmers are prepared to participate in farmers markets, maximizing opportunities to grow their farm profits; and
3. Promote farmers markets as vital community partners, bridging connections between markets, consumers and communities.
