WhyHunger believes a world without hunger is possible. We provide critical resources to support grassroots movements and fuel community solutions rooted in social, environmental, racial and economic justice. We are working to end hunger and advance the human right to nutritious food in the U.S. and around the world.

We don’t just ask why. We find solutions to hunger that transform and last. Our answer is to build power with grassroots initiatives that nourish people and enrich communities.

For more than 45 years, WhyHunger has been building a broad-based social movement led by the grassroots to change the systems, policies and institutions that perpetuate hunger and poverty in our world.
