About Us
Human Options mission is to help battered women, their families and our community break the cycle of domestic violence. Human Options, Inc. began in 1981 with a crisis hotline. In 1982, an eight bed shelter opened. Today, Human Options is a full service agency including a residential facility, a transitional living center, a walk in center, a batterer's treatment center, community education program and a thrift store. We provide comprehensive emergency and preventative services to the community, including three educational programs aimed at helping children of all ages develop healthy relationships and learn to manage their anger.
