  • About Us

For more than 20 years, CHWC has been transforming vacant lots and blighted properties in Kansas City, KS, into thriving neighborhoods through building new and renovating existing market-rate housing and helping people achieve and sustain their dream of homeownership through homebuyer education and assistance and financial counseling. We also foster a sense of community by providing families with meaningful places to gather and interact with one another through our support of local parks, community gardens and arts programs. These combined strategies help make Kansas City, KS, a better place to live, work and play.
