    The Avon Walk is a two-day 39.3 mile walk series which takes place in 8 cities throughout the U.S. Last year, the participants in DC earned over $4.5 million for a comprehensive network of programs and services dedicated to serving breast cancer patients and their families. The Avon Foundation focuses its efforts on five areas of the breast cancer cause: awareness and education, screening and diagnosis, access to treatment, support services, and scientific research.
