About Us
For over 25 years Renewal House, a program of the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry, has provided temporary emergency housing in combination with a broad spectrum of support services to individuals and families fleeing domestic abuse/violence. We do this work in partnership with those who come to us as well as with the surrounding community. It is through our connections and collaborations that we are able to create a web of support that provides space for healing and movement towards self-sufficiency for the individuals who share in our program. We work with survivors of all genders, races, sexual orientations and cultures.
