Kepler's Literary Foundation

Kepler’s Literary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization dedicated to enriching and inspiring the community through literary and cultural programs. We provide a forum for celebrated writers, artists, and original thinkers to discuss their ideas, insights, perspectives, and stories with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Programs include on-stage conversations, writing workshops, literary seminars, and community discussion groups covering the arts, culture, science, and current affairs. Events take place online, at Kepler’s Books and at venues throughout Silicon Valley.

Kepler’s Literary Foundation is the nonprofit arm of Kepler’s Books. Founded in 1955 by peace activist Roy Kepler, Kepler’s Books has been the intellectual and cultural hub for Silicon Valley for 63 years, known for its knowledgeable staff, its broad selection of books and magazines, and for its deep ties to the community. Kepler’s vision is to continuously innovate to create a model community bookstore for the future that can be a sustainable cultural institution.
