Code the Dream

Code the Dream is a mission-driven software development shop that trains and then hires low-income young people from primarily immigrant and minority backgrounds. Code the Dream students receive intensive training in app development, use that training to build apps for nonprofits and startups, and then leverage that new experience to pursue careers in tech. The ultimate aim of Code the Dream is to create a unique win-win, where diverse low-income young people gain experience building apps that help others overcome barriers to social and economic justice, and then translate that invaluable experience into life-changing economic opportunity for themselves, their families, and their communities.
