Impactful Education

Impactful Education’s vision is to harness the power of education as a driving force to transform communities. Impactful Education currently partners with schools in the rural town of Anyama, Ivory Coast, West Africa, to build libraries that function as an educational hub. Our organizational framework is founded on the principle of embracing a community-driven approach to unite young individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. This is accomplished by offering educational experiences and resources in our hub that are based on shared learning, collaboration, and a common understanding so that students can act as future champions of peace within their communities. Consequently, creating an educational hub with a strong emphasis on fostering collaboration among the young people has been motivated by the country's history of a decade-long civil war. This war was triggered by unstable power shifts rooted in ethnic tensions, land disputes, corruption, and impunity. It significantly affected rural communities and disrupted the educational pursuits of the youth, leading many of them to become child soldiers and victims of child labor or forced into child marriage.
