About Us
We exist so families can get better together.
We believe when a child is sick, a family is sick. That’s why, since 1977, we have kept families together with their hospitalized children through our Ronald McDonald House® and Ronald McDonald Family Room® programs, enabling them to get better together.
Each night, we keep over 180 families close to the care and resources they need at six area Ronald McDonald Houses and four Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. Allowing families to stay close to their hospitalized child supports the child’s health and well-being while saving families more than $10 million in hotel and food costs each year.

Our Ronald McDonald Family Rooms are in:
- Edward Hospital in Naperville
- Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago
- UChicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital
- Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge
In addition, our Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program, in partnership with Advocate Children’s Hospital, provides medical care to children in under-served areas throughout the Chicago area.
