Humanity United is a social investment organization committed to bringing an end to slavery and mass atrocities. Established in 2005 by Pam Omidyar, Humanity United is founded on the belief that defending basic human rights is essential not only to bringing about justice, but to building the economic, environmental and social conditions critical to a more secure and less violent world. Humanity United funds nonprofit, for-profit and public policy efforts that empower individuals and leaders, deepen public and political support for social change movements, and build community among policy, research and grassroots organizations.
