    MakeIT Haverhill (MIH), a project of Community Action, Inc. a federally designated anti-poverty agency, is a single story 2000 square foot “Workforce Development Initiative” located in a federally designated Economic Opportunity Zone. Opened in late June 2019, MIH is focused on workforce development, in particular: employment, education, and entrepreneurship for the socio-economically challenged Mt. Washington neighborhood and all of Haverhill. MIH provides a community space outfitted with hi-tech and low-tech equipment where job seekers and entrepreneurs, regardless of socio-economic status or means, can share ideas, network, learn, and generate employment opportunities and commerce.
