About Us
Local 161 of the Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees is a union whose role is to obtain the best possible conditions for its members through collective bargaining. These conditions include not only wage issues but pension and welfare benefits as well. The union also will police the resulting contracts to make sure the employer adheres to them.
Its members are comprised of Script Supervisors, Production Office Coordinators, Assistant Production Office Coordinators, Production Accountants, Assistants Productions Accountants and Payroll Accountants. All of whom work on feature films, commercials, television, documentaries and educational productions.
