International Refugee Trust (IRT), a UK-based organisation, funds small projects for refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Sudan, Uganda, Eritrea, Jordan, Thailand and DR Congo.
Our mission is to support small well-defined projects which tackle the problems facing communities with practical solutions, helping, in particular, the most vulnerable and often forgotten refugees such as women, children and the elderly. These projects address the immediate needs of the communities, such as health care, and also help them to prepare for the future through, for example, education and income generation schemes.
